Getting started
Is Bizargan free to join?
Yes. Creating an account, browsing auctions and tracking them are all free. You only pay if you decide to buy bid credits.
What is a penny auction?
Each bid costs one bid credit and raises the item's price by one cent. Bidding opens one hour before the auction ends, and a late bid resets the timer to 15 seconds. When the timer finally runs out, the last bidder wins. Read the full guide.
Who can take part?
You must be 18 or older to buy credits. We currently ship prizes to addresses in the United States only.
Credits & payments
How much do bid credits cost?
Packs start at $5.00. Larger packs include bonus credits. See the full price table.
Do credits expire?
No. Credits stay in your account until you use them.
Is my card information safe?
Yes. Card details are entered into a secure form hosted by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. They are sent directly to Stripe and never reach or get stored on our servers.
Do I get my credits back if I don't win?
No — credits used on bids and power-ups are spent whether or not you win, which is how penny auctions work. Please set a budget before you bid.
Can I get a refund?
If you were charged in error or a technical fault on our side affected your purchase, contact support and we'll put it right. See the refund policy for details.
Why did I get a "card on file" bonus offer?
Members who save a card with Stripe receive free bonus credits once. Saving a card does not charge it — you are only ever charged when you choose to buy a pack.
Bidding & fairness
Are there bots bidding against me?
When real payments are enabled, automated bidders are switched off in our code. Every bid in a live-money auction comes from a member. While the site is in preview/test mode (shown in the yellow bar at the top of the page), simulated bidders may be used for testing.
What are power-ups?
Optional extras — Shield, Bid Block, Time Extension and Stealth Bid — that cost additional credits. The exact cost is always shown before you confirm. How each one works.
Is the claw game rigged?
The claw game is a game of skill and chance, and most attempts don't win. The result of every grab is decided on our server according to the published rules, not in your browser. Claw game rules.
Something went wrong during an auction. What can I do?
Contact support with the auction name and time. A person will review it and reply within 24 hours.
Prizes & delivery
How do I claim a prize?
We email you a claim link when you win. Open it (or go to your dashboard), pick a shipping address and confirm. If you haven't claimed within 24 hours and have a default address saved, we ship it there automatically.
How fast will my prize arrive?
You'll get a tracking number within 48 hours of claiming. Delivery usually takes 3–7 business days. Shipping is free. Our delivery promise.
Are prizes new?
Yes. Prizes are brand-new retail products unless the listing clearly states otherwise.
Can I change my shipping address after claiming?
Usually, yes — as long as the shipping label hasn't been created yet. Contact support as soon as possible.
Your account
How do I change my email or password?
Go to Account settings.
Can I limit or close my account?
Yes. You can delete your account from Account settings at any time, or contact support if you'd like us to limit your purchases or pause your account.
How do I contact a human?
Use the support form. A person replies within 24 hours, and you can follow the conversation from your email.
